Salmon Roe are the developed eggs of salmon. These delicious orange/red balls have a slightly salty, fishy taste – comparable to caviar. They are packed with omega 3 fatty acids and contain many of the beneficial properties found in fish.
Salmon roe is versatile and can be served in many ways. Serve with a bowl of cooked white rice (you could add some Big Sam’s Norwegian Salmon and Hass Avocados to this). It pairs well with sour cream, chopped chives or diced red onion, on crackers or toast. Add a dollop of salmon roe to your scrambled eggs for breakfast.
