Salmon Roe are the developed eggs of salmon. These delicious orange/red balls have a slightly salty, fishy taste – comparable to caviar. Naturally rich in omega 3 fatty acids and contain many of the beneficial properties found in fish.
Salmon roe is versatile and can be served in many ways. Serve with a bowl of cooked white rice and salmon sashimi. It pairs well with sour cream, chopped chives or diced red onion, on crackers or toast. Add a dollop of salmon roe to your scrambled eggs for breakfast.
