Streaky bacon is found from the pork belly, and back bacon is the leaner meat found from the loin in the middle of the back of the pig. The bacon has a delicious smoky flavour and can be enjoyed in a variety of different ways –with eggs, sandwiches, ready meals, burgers and salads. It is a good source of protein and fats.
Storage instructions:
– Can be kept in the freezer (-18 degrees celsius) for upto 2 weeks if unopened.
– If refrigerated (0-4 degrees celsius) can keep for 2-3 days if unopened
