Fresh Soft Tofu

Origin: India

Made from soya bean our farm grown, hand made fresh tofu is soft in texture. It is a great source of protein containing approximately 13g of protein per 100g consumed. It is free from preservatives and contains no cholesterol – a great choice for a healthy meal. Traditionally used in Japanese and Chinese cuisines, it is so versatile in taste it can be used in virtually any cuisine. One can eat it raw, simply dipped in a sauce of your choice. Alternatively, marinate in your favourite flavours and lightly stir fry or bake. It is often used as a dairy free alternative to ‘paneer’ and a substitute to other meat proteins. We suggest chopping into cubes and creating a vegan tofu poke bowl using Big Sam’s hass avocados and edamame.

Storage instructions:

• Remove the tofu from the delivery box and keep it in a glass container with lid – immersed in fresh water. Store it in the fridge (0-4 degrees celsius).
• Do not freeze.
• Change water every other day to retain freshness.
• Consume within 12 days (always refrigerate).
